The clamp in the back works well, the light can be adjusted up and down. It does block vision over the stand somewhat, but at the same time it leaves lots of room to turn pages. We've all seen the typical stand light with it's 40 watt tubular bulb. You can't read with a 40 watt bulb. I located a 60 watt tubular bulb and lined the shade with aluminum tape, shiny side out. You can't read with a 60 watt bulb. This light is expensive, but it will illuminate the entire two pages of European size music. It is worth it. This is my second light, one for home and one for rehearsals. It will hold a charge, full brightness, for at least two sessions of endless rehearsals. You will be the envy of the ensemble. Recharge the thing when you get home. I cannot say how long the LEDs will hold up. LEDs are supposed to go on close to forever but...What i didn't like is the seller wrapped the item with adhesive backed bubble wrap so the box was pretty well destroyed by the time I got to the light. It would not have been pretty if I had to return the light. It's a bit pricy compared to other music stand lights but it's totally worth it. I have used many music stand lights and finally settled on this one. The most important feature it stands out from others is the even light distribution across the music sheets. All others I have used show certain degrees of vignetting. The Aria Forte gives much more evenly distributed light. Also, the warm color temperature is very pleasing comparing to other mood-killers. I sent an email to Aria on a Saturday after the LED failed to turn on during the week. Surprisingly, I received a response the next day; yes, on a Sunday. I was instructed to go through some steps of self-diagnosis and determined the unit indeed had issues. On the same day, a returning label was emailed to me for getting the unit fixed. You cannot get better customer service anywhere else. Bravo Aria! Finally a bright light for reading music. The lamp fits on a thick wooden stand as well, very sturdy. Great product. This product os amazing and fits most applications...except jazz fronts, OOPS! I guess you'll have to improvise!Well made, sturdy, and well designed. Easy to clip on Manhasset stand. Provides adequate light and looks good. I find that the light at the bottom of the page of music is a bit less bright than at the top, but still very good. This stand light may be used when plugged in or with a charge. If you need a good, reliable stand light, invest in this product. Finally a stand light that is bright enough across the music stand and rechargeable, too! I wish I would have bought one of these years ago.Did not receive a 110v cord.Bright, long lasting battery and the perfect size!Playing violin in orchestra at concerts where lighting isn’t the best.
